1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using TransKeep at transkeepai.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date above.

2. Description of Service

TransKeep is a cloud-based presentation translation service that translates PowerPoint (.PPTX) files while preserving layout, animations, styles, and formatting. Translation is performed using third-party AI language model providers. The Service is provided on a credit-based model as described in Section 4.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

4. Credit System and Pricing

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Credits are consumed when translation jobs are processed. An estimated credit cost is shown before each job is confirmed, and credits are deducted when the job begins processing.

Current plan options, credit allocations, and pricing are listed on our Pricing page. Prices and plan structures are subject to change; we will provide advance notice of material changes.

4.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription plans charge a recurring fee each calendar month and grant a fixed number of credits at the start of each billing cycle.

• Credits granted under a monthly subscription are valid only for the calendar month in which they are issued.
• Unused monthly subscription credits expire automatically at the end of that calendar month and do not carry over to the next month.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscription plans are billed as a single upfront payment for a full year. Credits are not granted in a lump sum at the start of the year — they are released on a monthly basis throughout the subscription period.

• Each monthly credit release under an annual plan follows the same expiry rule as a monthly subscription: credits issued in a given month expire at the end of that same calendar month.
• Credits from one monthly release do not accumulate with credits from the next release.
• Subscriptions renew automatically after 12 months unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4.3 Pay-As-You-Go Credit Packs

One-time credit packs are available for purchase without a recurring subscription commitment. Specific pack sizes and prices are listed on the Pricing page.

• Credit packs are a one-time payment with no auto-renewal.
• Credits from a purchased pack are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Pack credits can be used alongside subscription credits and are consumed after monthly subscription credits are exhausted.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. After cancellation:

• No further automatic renewals or credit grants will occur.
• Credits already issued to your account remain available and usable until their individual expiry dates.

4.5 Refunds

You may request a full refund of any purchase within 7 days of the original transaction date. This applies to all paid purchases on the Service, including monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, subscription renewals, and pay-as-you-go credit packs.

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] or use the Paddle buyer portal linked in your purchase confirmation email. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, in accordance with their Buyer Terms.

For administrative clarity: when a refund is issued, the credits originally granted by the refunded purchase are removed from your account balance as part of reversing the transaction. If those credits have already been consumed, your account balance may become negative and must be brought back to zero or above before new translation jobs can be confirmed.

4.6 Free Trial Usage

The Service may offer limited free usage to visitors without requiring account registration. This allows you to experience the core translation functionality before deciding whether to create an account or purchase credits.

• Free trial usage is available prior to registration and is subject to usage limits set by TransKeep at its discretion.
• Free trial usage does not carry over into a registered account — creating an account does not grant additional free credits.
• Free trial limits may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

4.7 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by our authorized payment service provider. TransKeep does not store your payment card details. Invoicing, tax collection, and billing management are handled through the payment service provider on our behalf.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Translate content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any credit billing or authentication mechanisms
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
• Share, resell, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any files you upload and the translated output files produced by the Service. By uploading files, you grant TransKeep a limited, temporary license to process your files solely for the purpose of delivering the translation service.

TransKeep retains all rights to the Service itself, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation.

7. File Processing and Data Retention

Uploaded files and translated output files are stored temporarily on our servers during active job processing. Once a translation job is complete, the output file is made available for download in your account.

Please download your translated files promptly after a job is completed. Both the original uploaded file and the translated output are permanently and automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of job completion, regardless of whether you have downloaded the output. We are unable to recover files after deletion.
